Bathrooms & Classrooms

The bathrooms have been particularly fun to finish.  Most of the children who will attend the School have NEVER used a bathroom inside a building!  The all have outside latrines.  We are looking forward to see how cleanliness and overall general hygiene will improve.  We are hoping such things as hand washing will carry over to their homes.

The classrooms we hope will become a special place for the children.  Notice the classrooms have tile floors, good lighting, fans, and good chalkboards.  All those things we take for granted at a school in the United States.  These things are special here in this zone.  We wanted to children to be in an environment that will encourage learning!  What better way than to have a beautiful classroom!

Classrooms measure about 16' x 18'
