June, 2002 Visit to the Interior Photos 

We had so many photos to share with you from our visit to the Interior, we decided to add this page to our Photo Gallery

Both these photos were taken in Concepcion.  There are only 3 cities in Paraguay that have a Rotary Club. 

Concepcion is one of these cities.  As you can see from the photo on the right,

Concepcion is a very Catholic community - this is the Virgin of Concepcion

Our Journal Entry mentioned how interesting it was watching the loading of the freight barge.  Here are some more photos of just how interesting this process is.  Notice, they load with horse carts as well as just carry on baggage.
