Ester's Quince Años

In most Latin American countries there is a lovely custom called the "Quince Años for girls when they turn 15 years old.  It’s much like a wedding without the groom.  The person enters adulthood with the help of Jesus Christ, family, and friends.  What a testimony!

The girl enters the church, in a long white dress & gloves, and walks directly to face the preacher.  There is a time of song, sharing, and a sermon.

All the girls pull a ribbon from the cake .......

... and the ones who gets the RING is supposed to be the first to be married!!

We truly felt honored to be a part of this special time in Ester's life - and to have the privilege of learning more about the culture.
