Methodist Center Photos

These photos were taken at the Methodist Center in Alajuela, Costa Rica during Men's and Women's retreats that we attended in May, 2001. 

As you will see in these pictures, the Center is truly an "oasis of peace and tranquility".

Kevin and Diane Griffin, missionaries with the Mission Society for United Methodists, are the Directors of the Center

The Chapel at the Center was designed by an architect from California as a gift to the center.  

The striking design of the structure blends amazingly well with the grounds of the Center.

Inside the chapel is equally impressive.  

As a civil engineer, Ed was struck by the fact that the large cross behind the altar actually supports one end of the chapel!
