January 2008 Adventures
All of you that still are writing 2007 on everything – we’re with you! Maybe by March, we may have 2008 in our heads so that our hands can write it.
We’ve spent January getting caught up on doctors’ appointments, maintenance on our home in Lawrenceville, and visiting friends. We even had a brief snow in Atlanta – one thing that we don’t get and don’t miss being in Paraguay!

We had a great month visiting with our home church, Cannon UMC in Snellville, GA. We had the opportunity to present the Mission Moments at all of our services, talked to the combined adult Sunday School classes, met with the men’s group, one women’s group, as well as met with the Mission Committee and the next Cannon team coming to Paraguay in 2008. While in the Atlanta area, we visited with First United Methodist Church, Lawrenceville, GA; and Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Decatur, GA. Even though we don’t have a lot of photos to share with you from the states for January, we wanted to show you photos of the school in Quinta Linea, The Susannah Wesley School
We also wanted to share with you just a few buildings in the town of Yrybucua where we work most of the time in Paraguay.
Please pray for our safety in February as we continue our travels.
